Do you want to learn self defence in a safe and empowering environment? This self defence trial program will teach you practical and simple techniques that can get you out of potentially dangerous situations. This trial course is perfect for beginners or people with limited martial arts experience.
This trial program includes:
1-on-1 lesson (learn skills you can use right away)

Self defence for ALL
We pride ourselves in creating an open and friendly culture where everyone is open to ask questions and learn in a supportive environment. We've created this introductory program for people wanting to learn self defence that can be used in immediate situations. You'll have a female instructor taking you through each section. If you decide to become a member after your introduction our membership starts from only $17.50 per week.

How do I book?
Book your introductory course using the book now form. This ensures you have self defence skills you can use right away.
Your private lesson can be booked on any day of the week (except Sunday) and at a time that suits you best. We will call to confirm your time and date.
Is there any contact in this class?
There is precision striking on training pads and bags. During the classes I wil be showing you how to disengage with your opponent. In order to do so, I will be holding your wrist and shoulders. There will also be light contact if we go through basic weapon defence but there is no point in the class that you will be hurt.
I have never had martial arts lessons before, is this right class for me?
Yes. This is the ideal way to discover if you would like to continue on to our regular group classes.
Do you have to be fit?
No, this trial program suits all fitness levels and little to no previous experience.
What should I wear to class?
Participants should wear comfortable and loose fitting work out clothes shoes. You will need to remove your shoes to train at the centre.
How long are the classes?
Your first class (private self defence class) runs for 45 minutes. Your second class (group class) also runs for 45 minutes.
I can’t tell you how profound that experience was… what Andre did for us was shift a mindset for me just by teaching us basic moves it made me really understand that I’m not a victim, no matter what happens I can actually engage with whatever is happening and I can fight back. She really showed us how. It was amazing! It just changed my mind completely and I’ll never forget that experience.
