Who can attend a self defence workshop?
Girls as young as 12 can benefit from our workshops with participants of any size, fitness level and background encouraged to take part.
Basically, anyone can hold a self defence workshop, there are no prerequisites and no requirements beyond having enough space for us to move around in.
Our friendly and professional female instructor will guide the group and ensure everyone is comfortable and having fun while learning new skills.
Workshops designed to empower
We believe that every individual is capable of self-protection. Our strength is not necessarily made up of mere physical muscle, but is built upon making a conscious choice to reclaim our sense of power in the world.
We aim to empower women by bringing them together at our self defence workshops and showing them ways of connecting to their power within.
A self defence workshop can create new bonds and shed new light on old friendships, and what better way to support one another than to learn and laugh together?
Where can I run a self defence workshop?
Workshops are held at your desired location or at one of our locations (Newport, Coburg, Moonee Ponds or Altona Meadows). For a group of 11 people we only require open space of around 4 meters squared. If you prefer to use one of our studios we can certainly organise this for you.
Our self defence course runs for approximately 1 - 2.5 hours (depending on your size group).
