This half day workshop is perfect  for women who want to gain a wider range self defence skills and get their body responding fastser through learned muscle memory.

We believe the best results come from empowering the individual. So during this half day workshop, you will learn various essential self-defence techniques as well as relevant skills that directly relate to your lifestyle and circumstances.

About Jade Vere-FlintJade Self Defence Instructor

A true martial art powerhouse, Jade defied norms, starting Taekwondo at 9 in a male-dominated era. By 17, she earned her Black Belt, taught classes, and set up a club with her multi-generational black belt family at 18. Today, Jade continues to impact lives through workshops, school and corporate programs and clinics which focuses on women's empowerment. She solidified her influence in martial arts by reaching her 7th Dan black belt. However, her true passion lies in guiding students to Black Belts, emphasising holistic development. Jade's Taekwondo journey breaks barriers, empowers, and leaves a lasting legacy.


Is there any contact in this class?

There is precision striking on training pads. During this workshop you will be testing self defence moves so there is contact with others in the program. There will also be light contact if we go through basic knife defence but there is no point in the class that you will be hurt.

I have never had martial arts lessons before, is this right class for me?

We run through skills for women wanting to learn street smart self defence skills in a supportive environment. If you would like to gain some new skills with a great group of people then this is the program for you.

This workshops suits all fitness levels and little to no level of previous experience.

What should I wear to class?

Participants should wear comfortable and loose fitting work out clothes.

We hold workshops in Yarraville and Surrey Hills. You will receive the location details upon booking.

How long is this workshop?

Each workshop runs for 4 hours.

How many people in this workshop?

We like to keep it small. There are usually between 3 - 8 participants in this workshop. This way, we can make sure we give you the personal attention you need.
