Description
Do you want to learn self defence in a safe and empowering environment? Regular weekly classes help you gain confidence in your abilities. Classes are held with a female instructor and are suitable for women, female identifying and non-binary folk.
To gage whether you would like to sign up for regular classes, book your introductory course first.
Our regular program includes:
- Striking exercises
- Escapes exercises
- Safe space to practice different scenarios
Self defence for ALL women
We pride ourselves in creating an open and friendly culture where everyone is open to ask questions and learn in a supportive environment. We've created classes specifically for people wanting to learn self defence that can be used in immediate situations. You'll have a female instructor taking you through each section. All classes are with other women, female identifying and non-binary folk (unless you decide you want to participate in mixed classes).
Key learnings from self defence:
- How to assess dangerous situations
- How to escape from simple holds
- How to execute simple but effective strikes to disable the opponent

How do I register my interest?

Is there any contact in this class?
We gage contact in class. If you would prefer to have minimal contact, we can accomodate this for you in private classes. Once you develop your skills you may want to change to some light contact.
I have never had martial arts lessons before, is this right class for me?
Yes. This is the ideal way to discover if you would like to continue on to our regular group classes. You'll get to know our class structure and people whom you will be training with prior to signing up to the regular classes.
Do you have to be fit?
No, this trial program suits all fitness levels and little to no previous experience.
What should I wear to class?
Participants should wear comfortable clothes that you can freely move around in.
