If you decide to become a member after your introduction memberships start from only $30 per week.
Key learnings from your self defence trial course:
- How to assess dangerous situations
- How to escape from simple holds
- What to do if you’re pinned to the wall
- How to execute simple but effective strikes to disable the opponent
*This offer is only available to new members.
FAQs
How do I book?
Book your private lesson first. This ensures you have self defence skills you can use right away.
Your private lesson can be booked on any day of the week and at a time that suits you best. Your group class will be scheduled upon completion of your private lesson.
Is there any contact in this class?
There is precision striking on training pads and bags. During the classes I wil be showing you how to disengage with your opponent. In order to do so, I will be holding your wrist and shoulders. There will also be light contact if we go through basic weapon defence but there is no point in the class that you will be hurt.
I have never had martial arts lessons before, is this right class for me?
Yes. This is the ideal way to discover if you would like to continue on to our regular group classes. You'll get to know our class structure and people whom you will be training with prior to signing up to the regular classes.
Do you have to be fit?
No, this trial program suits all fitness levels and little to no previous experience.
What should I wear to class?
For your first class participants should wear comfortable and loose fitting work out clothes shoes. You will need to remove your shoes to train at the centre. For your second class, we will give a brand new uniform to use in class.
How long are the classes?
Your first class (private self defence class) runs for 45 minutes. Your group class runs for 45 minutes.
Reviews
I can’t tell you how profound that experience was… what Andre did for us was shift a mindset for me just by teaching us basic moves it made me really understand that I’m not a victim, no matter what happens I can actually engage with whatever is happening and I can fight back. She really showed us how. It was amazing! It just changed my mind completely and I’ll never forget that experience.

Andre's women's self defence class was highly educational but also really fun. The two hour class flew by... Highly recommend trying out one of Andre's classes if you want to feel better equipped to defend yourself in a range of potentially dangerous situations. Thanks Andre!
